It seems like everyday there are more revelations about sexual harrassment and assault in the media. This is truly horrific and it is not surprising that it is so wide spread. The one that is the most depressing to me is George Takei - I have really enjoyed following his presence on Twitter and Facebook and I really agreed with his posting. It ( Read more... )

So, I found out yesterday that I did not get moved along in the MIT job search. That is ok as I was not really wanting to move out of California. Sure, the money would have been nice and it was flattering but I am 100% on interviews to resumes submitted so that is pretty good. I am just feeling around and seeing what happens. -I am beat and want to do lots of nothing this weekend. Need air space and quiet.

I am beat but just to update you on the status of me. I have a phone interview (7am from home) for a job at MIT. Not too serious about it but I think it is good to keep my options open. I looked at their operation on line and I could do their events in my sleep. Not too hard there and easy locations within the USA. Anyhoo. Will see what happens. ( Read more... )
